Adventures in sourdough

It’s been a few years since someone gave me a living, breathing thing to take care of.

(I’m not counting the dogs.)

We are talking things like Hermann dough or a kombucha SCOBY. Here’s the newest thing I made using fed sourdough starter:

How the “sausage” gets made: the Griddler Gourmet

English muffins! I had no idea that they are made on a griddle and need a light press (of cookie sheets). Here’s the English Muffin recipe I used, from King Arthur Flour.

And so of course, I’ve been eating waaayyy more bread than usual. These make great slider buns!

It’s been awhile since I posted, and I’m considering doing more image posts here, and fewer in Instagram. Thoughts?
