I’ve just registered for the July 4 Afton Trail 25k Run. There’s more than one way to skin the “I’m not interested in running a road marathon but I do love running for hours” cat, clearly.
Other news:
- My giant allium is just about to open up (see photo above). Will it get to the projected 10″ diameter bloom? I planted these bulbs last fall.
- I made some Herbed Passover Rolls yesterday, and shared them with friends. Butter or cheese fits quite nicely into their centers.
- The new Star Trek movie is FANTASTIC. What fun!!!
- Have you ever been to a church bowling center? I visited my first, the St. Francis Bowling Center, on Friday, to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday. The lanes are in the basement of a fairly unassuming-looking church/school building, in St. Paul’s West 7th neighborhood. It was a great place for a party!
