Pooping rainbows

Don't light a match.

This (pictured at right) reflects how I’m feeling right now, on a few levels. I’ve pulled something in my right hip joint that is making it really difficult to stand up straight or walk normally. I wag a huge colorful peacock tail that doesn’t exist. This appears to be due to a yard project that I took on, that perhaps I shouldn’t have.

Lesson learned, check. But it’s giving me some non-active time, for once (unless you count laying on the couch or floor with a heating pad wedged under my hip as active), to enjoy movies at home with hubbie, and to ponder all that is good in my life right now. I am so grateful for health, roof, roses in my yard, love, a good veggie burger recipe, my yoga students, a good remodel contractor, mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, awesome neighbors, great friends, and sprouts in the garden, to name a few.

It’s the new “pooping rainbows.” Sort of…
