I’ve been belaboring a post about a Yoga Nidra class I went to last week at Minnehaha Yoga Studio. Really, my message is simply to encourage people to try this kind of yoga session. Push aside any concerns you have about participating in what looks to be a 90-minute communal sleep session. Look forward to far more than two or ten minutes in a relaxed state. Get a little insight into how effective a positive thought can be, especially when you’re not distracted by movement or sensation, for about 45 minutes. Walk away feeling like you got a brand new set of facial muscles, and they are all relaxed.
